Client
John Theurer Cancer Center
Surviving cancer is a personal experience.
How do you highlight the bravery of cancer survivors without trivializing their journey? Let them tell their own stories, in their own ways. We worked with JTCC to highlight four incredible survivors with ages ranging from 28 to 64, creating mini-documentaries, a print and out of home campaign and a robust social approach to document how JTCC works tirelessly with patients to provide them with world class care.
The first thing we wanted to do was interview the survivors and learn how best to tell their story. We learned about their passions, for instance one woman, Kathy, is an incredible optimist, frequent marathon runner and Ironman participant, even at 56. We then crafted the shoots around their lives, passions and story working to also tie in their doctors and hospital journey in a seamless way.
